Practice Areas

Turkey has adopted anti-dumping rules under Law No: 3577 on the Prevention of Unfair Competition in Importation and its secondary legislations, which are in compliance with those laid down in the WTO Anti-Dumping Agreement. Based on those legislations, the Turkish Ministry for Economy often initiates investigations against dumping practices and impose some measures particularly including the levying of additional taxes. We offer legal advices to different stakeholders of such anti-dumping investigations, including domestic producers, importers, foreign producers and foreign governments.

Our legal services offered in this area cover particularly:

  • Representing our clients in anti-dumping investigations initiated by the Ministry and assisting them in the on-site visits and preparation of necessary documentations during such investigations
